If you can say something in a few words then avoid using a paragraph to say the same thing, and keep it minimal and make sure your approach is not too confusing.

If you're not testing your landing page by using Analytics, then you are leaving a lot of money on the table. For one thing, you can get more in depth information and metrics about visitor behavior, and that is the only way to see what's going on. Testing and making revisions and testing again is how you optimize your pages. Also, there are other programs out there that many people swear by.

There is nothing inherently challenging about landing pages, but your knowledge of what is involved will help lower that challenge. Reduce the chances of your page performing poorly by education and then putting that knowledge into action. Your goal is to test, track, and make adjustments and do that one change at a time. This will automatically give you an edge over the competition and you'll end up getting more conversions.
