With high rate of unemployment and under employment, people are starting out self employment and turns in to home business in order to generate cash. eBay, Etsy, ArtFire and social networks such as facebook are used for marketing. With the increase in number of competition, it will be hard to stay in the business for long.

Starting a business online can be intimidating, but staying in the business can be a bit challenging. Competitions are everywhere and they are sure to swallow your effort if you do not excel. So, how can you stand firm against these adversaries? The answer is simple it is by having loyal customers. How do we keep them then?

How to get the costumers trust and unwavering support to your product is a critical issue that you must address. Begin with a little surprise. Adding something to the package will not hurt as long as it's free. Surely, the costumer will appreciate the thought. Give your contact information to the client. Along with the package you can place your business card. It should contain your name, contact number, web address, or office address.

Always make the client feel that they are special, thank the client for each transaction and offer a discount for the next purchase. Give away or freebies at a purchase of certain amount of goods are also promising. These promos don't have to happen all the time. Once in a while could be enough.

The shipping, packaging and quality of the product plays an important factor in gaining the trust of the client. Deliver the product quickly and on time. Always consider the comfort of the client and make them feel they are valued. The packaging should be done neatly and carefully so as to preserve the quality of the product. Make you're packaging unique add a touch of creativity of possible. Adding some beads, flowers or ribbons in a box can give it an atmosphere of elegance. At the end of the transaction Ask for an evaluation, comments or suggestion to help you meet the demands of the client. It will also show how much you care about the type of service you deliver. Having a unique and durable product gives you an edge among other competitions. The quality of the product is the strongest point you can get.

Last is to establish a good relationship by using good and effective communication skills. Make your point clear and simple, always express your gratitude by saying "thank you" and look after the comfort of the client.
