How Recyclable Paper Cups Allow You To Drink Your Treats And Help The Planet

By Tom Doerr

Not many people enjoy doing the dishes. If you use Paper Cups the majority of the time, you won't have nearly as many dishes to wash. This can be great all by itself, but if you choose to recycle the benefits can go way beyond a little less housework.

Many times you are able to find big dumpsters or bins out in the parking lots of grocery stores or other establishments. These containers are clearly marked as places where you're allowed to throw in your recyclable products. You don't have to talk to anyone, or pay any kind of fee. All you have to do is drive up and dump your bucket in.

Glass, ceramic and plastic cups can be expensive and a lot of them break really easily. When you use cups made from recyclable paper material, you don't have to worry about cleaning up shards of sharp glass if one happens to break. You are able to put most types of beverages into them, including coffee and tea.

At the supermarket or local cafe that serves hot beverages, you are able to drink those drinks from the cups supplied for that purpose. They even give you little cardboard "skirts" to slip on your cup to keep it from burning your fingers. This is a safe way to sip your coffee, tea, cappuccino or chocolate. Even at ball games and other functions, you will find these small containers filled with your favorite soda or beer.

These drinking utensils are recyclable, but it's up to you to put them in a bucket or bag and take them to a place that does recycling. Many people have great intentions of recycling, but they never follow through. It's very simple to recycle, especially if you're able to find a dumpster that is used to collect nothing but paper.

People who care about the earth and the things that end up in the landfills, using recyclable cups made of paper to drink their coffee and tea from, can be a great way to help reduce the amount of trash in these landfills. You'll not only be enjoying your favorite tasty treat, you'll also being doing a small part to help keep the earth a healthy place to live.
