Accelerated BSN Online : Obtain A Bachelors Of Nursing In Just 12 Months

Accelerated nursing programs are now being offered that enable students to complete their BSN in 12 to 15 months. Pushed by the current nursing shortage colleges and universities are now putting students through accelerated programs that build on their previous experiences and knowledge to get them to the point where they are fully qualified nurses.

Students holding a degree in any field are able to enroll into one of the hundreds of accelerated nursing programs throughout the US and complete their Bachelor of Science in Nursing in as little as 1 year. Alternatively there are generic masters programs also available that give you a masters or doctorate in any nursing related field in just three years or less.

This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to switch jobs and build a career in nursing. Nursing is a highly sought after profession, which was actually the forth most in demand degree in 2009 and for good reason. Nursing has a great salary structure, fantastic benefits and you can gain employment the world over.

The way an accelerated nursing degree program works is that you'll be focusing on the most important nursing topics to complete your industry specific education.
