How To Create A More Trustable Landing Page

By Jason Nieder

Creating an effective landing page is the goal of every Internet marketer, because that's where you get the leads, and that's how you convert your prospects. The biggest issues internet marketers face is how to make prospects trust their sites and take appropriate actions. There are of course many factors involved in creating a trustable landing page it doesn't happen just by creating the page. This article aims to help you create a landing page that gains the trust of your target audience as well as helps you create long term relationships with prospects and clients.

First and foremost, you have to ensure that you're not using any kind of popups or popunders on your landing page, because that's oh-so-not-professional. Years ago when the internet was still new, popup ads worked to get attention but these days most people are simply annoyed with them. Most prospects will be instantly turned off by popup ads on your landing page. Your prospects may become suddenly uninterested in your products although they may engage in conversation about the popup itself. Besides that, if you're planning to drive traffic to your page from pay per click programs such as AdWords, you can say goodbye to all your popup ad domination dreams - because they're not allowed.

Don't ask for random information be sure that the information you ask for is targeted and focused and avoid asking random questions. People are apprehensive when it comes down to sharing their details on the Internet, so why make it difficult for them when you can make it easy? If you can keep from asking personal information such as phone numbers and addresses as this can scare prospects away. Asking for basic information is a rule of thumb you should follow to gain your prospect trust before asking for more information on additional pages. You simply only need a first name and email address when giving away free items or reports on your landing page. Each unnecessary detail you ask for will make your conversion rate decline. Secondly, add some credibility to your page and show your prospects that you stand by your product by displaying your phone number. This helps prospects see that you are the real deal and can be trusted. They will feel more at ease when they know you're not trying to hide behind your webpage. This is also perfect for those prospects who aren't necessarily net savvy and prefer to take you up on your offer via telephone. The phone number is a must for those internet marketers who wish to have a trustable landing page.

Last of all; repel from pushing your landing page. If you would like excellent conclusions from your endeavors, then don't apply any gimmicky techniques that drive people away, as opposed to driving them toward you. Individuals in the present time have become knowledgeable of those kinds of methods and they are programmed to robotically snub it if they discover that kind of thing. If you are being genuine, people will recognize this, and even if you're just building it up, they will recognize that. So it's better to be honest, straightforward and authentic than being sorry.

taking the rihgt steps at the right moment is what it's all about as you can see from the infomration provided here. Don't lag behind because of a lack of action, keep working towards your goal and you'll reach the finish line in no time.
