Silver.Ag Snake Chains Manual

By Igor Pauer

Snake chains are a popular choice of jewelry and can be worn by anyone. Choose one that suits your style. Do a lot of comparison shopping before committing to a purchase to ensure that you get the best value for your money.

You probably know that there are different types of golds and other materials that can be used to make the jewelry. A very popular choice would be yellow gold. Yellow gold comes in various carats, the higher the carat meaning the more value, but also the higher price. Yellow gold is a very pretty option however, and looks great with any outfit.

Other metals you can consider are silver, platinum, or a chain made from a different material such as rope, twine, hemp, or leather. Platinum can be quite expensive and is often used by the very wealthy. Silver is a nice alternative to platinum and is certainly more affordable.

Now that you have decided what type of metal to go with, it's time to consider the size. There is the width and also the length to consider. Typically the thicker the chain the more expensive it will be. Additional length also means additional price.

On average, an 18 inch chain in 18k gold with a width of . 95 mm will cost you anywhere between two hundred and fifty dollars to three hundred and fifty dollars. Look for one that has a lobster claw clasp, which is more durable and not likely to break. This clasp is also one of the easiest to hook together, especially if you are alone and have no extra pair of hands to help!

You might like to add to your ensemble by buying additional accessories. A matching bracelet looks great, or perhaps a delicate watch to compliment your choice. Earrings are nice too, but don't get something that will draw the eye away from the necklace.

To personalize your choice of snake chains, think about adding a pendant to wear with it. You can get just about anything you want on a pendant. Show off your personal style easily by selecting something that says a little bit about who you are and what you like. For example, a cat lover could buy a pendant of a cat, or a religious person may want to buy a cross.
