The Sunrise Aviation Director of Training, Patrick Murphy, and recently visited China for two weeks. While he was there, he made presentations at two different high schools for the 1,200 students getting ready to graduate. Sunrise Aviation's sister school, Shanghai EasyFly Aviation Technology Co., Ltd., sponsored the trip.
Guangdong Bowen International School in Zhongshan and Sino-Canada High School near Shanghai were among the few schools visited in China were presentations were made. Although a visit was made to the number 3 middle school, Zhuhai, presentations may be made another day.
Sunrise Aviation and Shanghai EasyFly have created a cutting edge aviation college program for Chinese Pilots. It is a 4 year program created for Chinese high school graduates that will include, lessons in English, a 4-year bachelors degree, all of the pilot ratings, and an internship in which they will be a flight instructor. These Chinese students will be attending Florida State College in Jacksonville. At Florida State College at Jacksonville where they operate a distant base for training pilots, Sunrise Aviation is the flight exclusive training vendor.
In preparation of the arrival and enrollment of high school graduates from China, a Letter of Intent was recently signed at Florida State College at Jacksonville with Shanghai EasyFly.
In January of 2013, the very first three Chinese aviation college pupils are scheduled to come to Jacksonville, Florid. Sunrise Aviation already has three Chinese students taking pilot training courses at their Ormond Beach, Florida main base of operations.
Shanghai EasyFly Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. has its main office in Shanghai but also has satellite offices in Guangdong, Shanxi, and Shandong Provinces in China. Shanghai EasyFly not only places students for pilot training in the USA but also performs selection and preparation prior to the arrival of the students in the USA and helps students with obtaining Chinese pilot certification and finding pilot jobs upon return to China.

A sister company does private flights in a Piper Chieftain and King Air B100. To complete their pilot training, students all over the world come to Sunrise Aviation. Recent students have arrived from China, Brazil, Colombia, Panama, Bahamas, Sweden, Arabia, Saudi, Jordan, UAE, and India. Sunrise Aviation is a FAA approved Pilot School and has been approved by the US Department of Homeland Security to accept and teach foreign students.
