Creative Ways to Raise Your eBook Profits

By Batiste Piedu

Perhaps the most reliable and tested methods for making money online is the selling of eBooks; think about it: there are eBooks on every subject! One of the reasons that people enjoy eBooks so much is because they are easy to get and understand and since most of the eBook readers out there (like the Kindle) feature internet access it's easy to understand why more Internet users are choosing to get their information this way. The following article shows you how you can go beyond the traditional eBook marketing and actually leverage your eBook in different ways to get more cash flow ...

Leverage the Power of Newsletters and Ezines: If you are promoting your eBook in an attempt to make more money, don't forget to make use of all of the channels that are already ready and waiting for you. This means that there are already methods available to you through the Internet like newsletters and ezines that have already been established that can help you get your words in front of a large and established audience. So does that mean you simply run a solo ad in an ezine within your niche? Absolutely not. You need to get in touch with all of the leading ezine and newsletter publishers and get them to run a short (but great) excerpt from your book along with your byline and a link to the main sales portal for your eBook. This forms a win-win situation because you get the targeted exposure that you're looking for and the ezine publisher gets to give away quality content to their subscribers. Make sure that the ezine you work with is actually targeted for your niche.

Use Benefits to Get Sales: How can you take the benefits of your sales copy and use them to get more sales? You simply take your most important benefits and link them to the order page for your book. Don't sit back and wait for the viewer to read all the way down to the order button before he buys your book. Just link your order page to the benefits listed in your sales letter. This can help get potential buyers even more excited about buying your book because they've already learned about the benefits. Tread carefully here; overdoing it could wind up offending your sales prospects. Your aim should be to provide subtle hints throughout the benefits to get people to click and visit your order page - that's all.

eBooks Make Great Classes: It's super easy to break down your eBooks into lessons and parts that you can mail out to a list of subscribers or "students." To truly earn the highest profit possible make sure that you offer several levels of courses from beginning to advanced. This will allow you to recruit people who are beginners and then sell to them again when they are ready for the advanced stuff. The most important thing, obviously, is giving as much value to your subscribers as possible. You might even offer a few lessons from your class for free and then only ask people to pay for the more advanced information. Make sure that you are creative and think outside the normal limits of things when you put together your class so that your students will be more likely to enjoy what you are learning. When you are successful with one eClass or course, you will have opportunities to run more in the future.

So make sure that you jump on every opportunity to be creative in your eBook marketing--this way you'll make as much money as possible.
