Why Does E Liquid Matter So Much?

By Serena Price

A few years ago have seen a dramatic increase in demand for electronic cigarettes commonly known as e cig. This is largely attributed to the fact that this form of cigarette is able to overcome several shortcomings of the traditional cigarettes. The principle behind this technology is quite simple. Given that nicotine is what keeps people smoking, this cigarette uses liquid nicotine which is vaporized and inhaled giving similar satisfaction is not better. Choosing the E liquid particularly if you are a starter might be a challenge.

The basic components of an electronic cigarette include a cartridge, a battery, an atomizer and the E liquid which is heat to produce vapor that you then inhale. In order to select the best juice for your cartridge however, there are many questions that you must fast answer.

E liquid or juice is basically a mixture of different components. These include but not limited to nicotine (though not always), flavoring agent, water and the base liquid. There are three choices when it comes to base liquid meant to appeal to different people. The most common one is Propylene Glycol (PG), Polyethyle Glycol (PEG 400) and Glycerine (VG). Many people prefer PG but those who are after sweet taste go for VG. If you react to PG and hate the sweetness in VG, then the alternative is PEG 400.

When it comes to flavoring, most ingredients used are those typically found in food flavorings. The possible options are so many that it is impossible to discuss them in one articles. It is however important to buy the brands that has ingredients listed. Better still, it will be helpful to choose pharmacological based ingredients.

When the juice is labeled as 0mg/ml nicotine, then it is nicotine free and may help former smokers who still have that oral fixation. 6mg/ml to 12mg/ml on the other hands is for light smokers. Medium smokers con go for nicotine concentration of between 18mg/ml to 24mg/ml. If you are a heavy smoker, you should try the range of 30mg/ml to 36mg/ml or there about. Too much nicotine is still poisonous and you need to be careful.

Most of flavors used are based on the food flavors. In any case, there are just too many tastes available in the stores today that no single article could discuss all of them. What matters is being able to understand the ingredients as they are always indicated on the label to assist you in making a choice.

When it comes to mixing your own solution however, the story is different. This is a matter of trial and error, and at the beginning, it is just errors. You can find leads in the internet or even printed magazines to give you direction in this.

The E liquid you choose will determine just how you enjoy your switch to electronic cigarette. There are thousands of brands particular is you go online majority with fine tuned flavors to suit your taste.
