Las Vegas Electrical- Your Home Need a New Electrical Breaker Panel

By Frank Chang

How do I know when my house needs a new circuit breaker panel? Why do I need a new breaker panel? Do I need a 200 amp panel? Is it because of the small collection of fuse boxes on the side of my house? If you have Federal Pacific Breakers?

It would have nothing to do with the new reform, or a release switch. Check the list below for items that can cause the upgrade of electrical service home, and make your home more secure.

Added new kitchen appliances

Added central electric heating

Add a tankless water heater

Nestled in one room or two

Added tools garages 240V

Added new lights and heating bath

Added more air conditioners

No more bonus room upstairs

A blown fuse with the system still does not

Trip switches, and the old panel is the damage

The insurance company does not reform the housing policy

Damaged by a storm and the requirements of the new Code

You can sell your home and the home inspector found defects

Want a lifetime guarantee on your switches and the panel

When the house was built, the electrical system was large enough to meet all electrical requirements. Most home builders trying to save money and pay only the minimum required by the electrical system of the building regulations. If we built a customized home and have been involved in an electrical contractor, you may never need to update, because you have purchased an upgrade for power at an affordable price. (Before that the walls have been shaken-up).

Electrical Code in place when the house was built is probably the most changed and there are many new requirements. Some cities require most or all of the new code must be installed at any time, make the most of a small operation. Some only require repairs to meet the new code. Section of permits is mounted at the moment and will be updated on a daily basis.

If your house is on the market and the new buyer has the financial, the credit agency can follow the advice of home inspectors (right or wrong) and ask for all the defects increases with the code. This does not necessarily align with state and local laws or regulations, but the money that rules.

Electrical Upgrade is a good investment. There is a significant return on money invested, plus the intangibles. How can you put a price on the safety of your family? What is the cost of a good night's sleep? Can you afford to be frugal with your family life?

As we speak now is this the right time to protect the objects in your home, you generally do not connect a surge protector. Add a whole house surge suppressor (lifetime warranty) to protect the new washer / dryer combo or expensive energy-efficient refrigerator. Eaton surge protectors are so good at what they do, the manufacturer will provide a lifetime warranty on surge protection and insurance to cover damage to connected equipment or connected to the electrical system.
