My college friends have been recommending the purchase of Tasers. They say that these protection devices are what I need to keep off any assault by my enemies in school. I go to an Oregon campus where it is common to hear of fighting and attacks launched by the students themselves.
When I started looking for Taser devices that we could purchase online, several types caught my attention. All of them seemed to be potent enough to bring down the bad guys while easy to operate and carry around at the same time.
Initially, I thought that the Taser C2 with laser sight met my requirements the most. I was drawn to its laser function that could help me point it to my opponent. I should have no trouble operating this personal safety device when I have to protect myself from a long distance. In addition, the Taser C2 without laser sight is available.
Each Taser comes with a couple of probes attached to the unit by wires that are capable of getting to an attacker who is 15 feet away. As such, I need not get close to the delinquent anymore. I realized consequently that Taser devices serve two functions, as long-range weapons and as close-contact stun guns. I only have to power on its safety switch and strike the body of an enemy with it to defend myself.
Continuing to browse, I found the Taser X26C. It relies on a digital power magazine that is so smart as to know the energy consumption and its own remaining power. There is a central information display for the battery level and the activation countdown timer.
I was equally taken by the Taser M-26C. I liked the fact that it is a less complicated variation of the advanced Taser M26 provided to law enforcers. Not unlike all other Taser devices, it employs modern electro-muscular disruption technology to cause the immediate paralysis of any recipient.
In other words, individuals who are used to withstanding pain will be no match for the Taser releasing 50,000 volts. Even military guys and policemen may not be able to endure the power unleashed by one.
While there were several Taser devices to choose from, I went with the Taser C2 with laser sight in the end.
