Double Faced Tape Is Very Convenient

By Essie Osborn

The world has come a long way in terms of inventions and gadgets, especially in the field of glues, pastes and tapes. There is a multitude of ways to get things "stuck down", but most of these products have singular applications. There is another product that is a lot more versatile, double faced tape.

This product has been designed for flexibility, strength and versatility. There are a number of uses like hanging pictures, mirrors and posters. This can also be placed on the bottom of furniture, coasters and other items to avoid making scratch marks on the objects they are on. You could also use it as a cushion for doors and draws to avoid the loud slamming sounds caused when being banged shut.

As mentioned this product has a hundred and one uses and possibly more. When used correctly it has adequate strength to hold up a large mirror against the wall that is impressive! It can be applied and removed a number of times, but not recommended for excessive reapplications. There are also a number of thicknesses to choose from for your convenience. This means it can be used as a spacer or even on posters and wall postcards.

Why not use it when camping, boating or hunting? Just a bit of tape on the barrel of your rifle, where it rests on a tree or log, will help it not to slide while taking aim. Although both sides are sticky it has been cleverly designed. It comes in roles, strips or pre- cut squares. If on a role, when you unroll it you will expose one sticky side, the other side will be concealed with a protective strip.

You can get creative. Because the product is made from sticky foam it has cushion type characteristics. This means that you can use it to cushion that door or window from slamming shut. The possibilities of uses are really endless for this fantastic product. No mare slamming and broken panels or windows, what a pleasure.

This product is so versatile it can be used to stop items from scratching each other. Stick one side of the tape to the underside of furniture or coasters, leave the protective side intact. This will prevent the two items rubbing together and causing marks and scratches. You can even use it between two or more sheets of glass to avoid them scratching and marking each other.

At the end of the day versatility and user friendliness goes a long way! This unique tape is a great way to let the kids do their school projects without worrying about them sticking paste all over the table and who knows what else! Peal stick, peel apply. This is so simple anyone can do it! You have rain coming in under the door? Why not place some tape as a temporary measure that works?

Although this tape is not very effective on uneven surfaces the limits otherwise or more to your imagination! This product will stick to smooth objects such as glass and can be applied to just about any other surface too. Need a quick fix? Better make sure you have this product available.
