Look Your Best Every Day: Simple Beauty Tips Everyone Can Use!

By Roz Demer

For most women, looking their best is easily one of their topmost priorities before and after they leave the house. However, it can be very difficult to keep oneself looking bright and beautiful in the midst of a challenging work, school, and social schedule. Fortunately, these tips and tricks make it easier than ever to maintain their appearance.

Do wonders for your appearance; increase the blood flow and circulation to your face making you look less tired! Firmly massage your ears and earlobes from top to bottom using your thumb and forefinger. Massaging in this manner stimulates the flow of blood to your face without damaging tender skin so your complexion will be refreshed and appear much brighter.

Do not apply eyeliner from the outside to the inside. You are less likely to get a straight line this way. Instead, start from the inside and slowly work your way to the outside. Do not go too fast, it is unnecessary and will just make your eyeliner smear.

To tease your hair, use a firm bristled toothbrush. Digging in at the roots will give the effect of lightly teased hair. Use a baby toothbrush, and spray lightly with hairspray. Running the soft toothbrush by them easily tames the wispy pieces found at the hairline. These are great tips to use instead of backcombing your hair.

Tired of dealing with lots of frizzies and fly aways? Rub lotion into your hands and then very gently run over the frizzy part of your hair. This helps those annoying strands to lay flat with the rest of your hair and become non-existent for the duration of the day.

Putting on your own nail polish can be very frustrating, especially when using your non-dominant hand. Next time, apply your normal two color coats and a topcoat in the evening (give the polish a few hours to dry before bedtime). Don't worry too much if the polish gets on your cuticles. Then, in the morning, take a hot shower, and all the extra polish on your cuticles and skin will rub right off.

Baby powder is a great beauty product. You can use it in place of your usual powder, if you should lose it and are in a tight spot. You can also use it to absorb oil in your hair. Just put a little in your brush and comb through. Style as usual.

Use coffee ground to smooth your hands. Don't throw out old coffee grounds. Save them in a bag in your fridge. Twice a week, before moisturizing your hands, use a teaspoon of the coffee grounds and rub your hands together. Wash your hands, then apply lotion as you normally would.

While planning to improve your physical appearance is very exciting, you should feel better that you know how to do it properly. You can now apply your newly acquired knowledge either to making yourself feel more confident in your own body or to making other people take notice of you.
