Input mode shows the values of two successive channels. By moving the up and down buttons, you can select the channel that you need. There is an output slow mode that displays the 512 channels faded up and down. This slows down the transmission with long breaks. The output fast mode, on the other hand, has faster transmission because of minimum breaks. It has a total of 64 channels fading up and down.

Relevant technical background puts one in better position of working with the system due to its complexities.
