Camping Recipes

By Maryl Joop

So you have a car. Excellent. Providing you can afford the ever-increasing cost of gasoline that often seem better suited to pricing liquid gold, you can transport yourself anywhere, whether that be to the post office or to the anime expo that you didn't tell any of your friends you were attending. However, simply acquiring a vehicle is but the first step on the road to vehicular nirvana; in order to achieve true oneness with the combustion engine, you need to fit your car with a boss stereo system. Come young grasshopper, we have work to do.

Once you have filled your car with more than enough of both of these items, you should branch out and bring stuff like a camping lantern. You might want to limit the amount of food that you carry, but you have to consider what would happen if you got into trouble. You would be left with nothing but the items that would have very little use to you in those situations. Food that you bring with you while camping doesn't have to be boring.

Bringing Along a Stove or Grill

Pursue Perfection

After collecting the supplies, a person can begin to fashion their own flashlight. Step one will be to tape the stretch of wire to the negative end of one of the batteries and ensure that the wire will not be easily moved from its setting against the battery.

There's nothing wrong with packing up meals and taking them with you when you head up into the mountains. Since you will have a mechanism necessary to heat meals, you should not worry about having a number of them packed in your cooler. Preparing your meals beforehand is advantageous because you will be able to guarantee that the right stuff goes into each meal. Putting together meals becomes that much more difficult in the wilderness. You won't have to haul all of the ingredients with you when you have the fully formed versions of the meals you want stored away safely. If you decide to choose this approach, you should make it a point to have extra coolers to hold all of the storage containers.

Once you have determined which speakers that will work best with your car, plan out how to install them in your vehicle. Speaker placement is an important element of your stereo system, so take time to determine how to best array them. Don't forget to take measurements for how much speaker wire you'll need. Also consider adding any number of extra elements to your sound system that will improve power and quality, such as amplifiers, equalizers, and crossovers.

Regardless of where you're going or what you're bringing with you, it's essential for you to invest in large amounts of ice. Pack so much ice that you have another cooler along for the ride just for ice. You should try to stay somewhere that's close to where ice is sold. If you're going to be in the middle of nowhere for days on end, you should go to one of the more modern camping grounds. You will get your doubters when you decide that this is the right approach for you. You have to put that out of your mind because your safety and enjoyment are the most important things. You should want to look back on your trip fondly rather than in a negative manner.
