Cigarette Bins, Keeping The Streets Clean

By Denver Burke

While cigarette bins may look a little weird placed randomly in parking lots and in front of a business, they are doing an amazing job. Each and every day there are millions of cigarette butts that are discarded onto the ground. Yet when there is a bin for the exact use of this, less of these end up as eye sores for all of us.

You may not think much about them, but these devices are being used on a daily if not hourly basis. Tobacco can decompose easily if left alone, but the butt left over at the end has a much harder time of decomposing, if it ever does.

In creating a bin exactly for these, it is helping stop all of the butts that are thrown around and onto the ground. It is easy to see just how beneficial they can be when placed in areas that are a normal congregation circle for smokers. After a while it may even come to be seen that more are needed as this trash begins to accumulate.

These disposal devices are easily placed in high traffic areas, and areas that are normal collection areas where butts are strewn about. Many smokers do not see the harmful effects that they are creating. Yet with the right placement of a bin to discard these used butts, it is easy for the smoker to toss their used butt into a catch bin.

While as of now, these butts are just butts, but at some point in time, we may find some use for these or even an ability to recycle them. As of now, putting up a bin to collect all of these eye sores is going towards the right direction. It may seem like just helping the smokers with their habit, but in the end it is just keeping the area clean for others other than smokers to use also.

In the end a bin for the use of these nasty looking butts is the perfect thing in parks and near a business with high foot traffic. If every business or park was equipped with something like this, the areas in front of these places would be less littered with cigarettes.
