How To Use A Combined USB And Wireless Charger

By Johny Jacson

So these Qi technology chargers are becoming quite popular among the trendy gadget-expert people, aren't they? But then there is more coming that will soon be the trend for device peripherals. Now there is a new charger device coming out of the market.

It is a combined USB wireless charger. What is that, then? More like a universal charger that features USB ports for those devices that have USB adapters for their chargers and those devices that are Qi tech inductive power standard enabled.

No need to worry-when picking your wireless USB charger, here are several key considerations to keep in mind so that you'd make the best choice:

Naturally, the primary consideration is pricing. Obviously, the quality of your wireless charger can also be gauged using its price. A warning here: do not fall into the trap of thinking that being the most expensive automatically means being the best in quality.

As of now there are only a few device brands that were able to make devices that can use Qi technology. Because of this, there are only a few device brands that are on the market that offers enable charging through this method.

How do you use this charger then? The only one of this combined type available as of today is the Qi standard, 4-port USB charger. It is sold under the name Vority and its use is as easy as charging 5 of your devices all at the same time.

First, you will plug this wall adapter to your power outlet. As the device has combined the wall adapter with the actual charger, there will only be the plug wire and the actual charger. A red light will indicate that the charger is working properly. Incidentally, this light is not the kind that obnoxiously disrupts your vision at night, as it is visible, but not too bright.

You will now have an option to plug your USB wires of your devices to the charger. There are four ports, two for each power output setting. With these ports, you can charge two mobiles and two tablets. Now you still have the Qi standard feature.

After evaluating specifications, look into the design as well. keep in mind that your wireless charger will be easily seen when you use it, so make sure you get one that fits your tastes. Similarly, if you will be keeping the wireless charger in just one place like a table or a shelf, find one that will look good with the surroundings. Aside from the aesthetic factor, consider the size and weight of the charger as well. Obviously, smaller and lighter ones are better if you intend to use it while traveling.

The next factor to consider is customer support. While wireless chargers are very easy to use, you'd want to make sure you can easily call for help when issues arise.

There are new charging devices released in the market that feature both the USB type and the Qi-tech wireless type in one package, like the Vority combined Qi-standard and USB charger.

With this, you wouldn't have to keep on charging your devices in different outlets all over the house. You'll have them all charged with one USB wireless charger in one place. You wouldn't have to worry about that mobile you've placed on its Qi-standard pad either. The charger is made to work at full speed for all five devices without overheating and affecting the device you'll place on top of it for inductive power charging.
